Description
Virginia Commonwealth University has used Blackboard for nine years, maintains a 99% up time and considers Blackboard a mission critical system. Blackboard is used by 1900 faculty (3623 courses) and 27,000 students and is expected/required to be available 24/7. This presentation will discuss the hardware, software, procedures and people in place to maintain this up time percentage and 24/7 expectation. Lessons learned over the years will be shared.
